crystal glowing

I casted a particular spell, one i wrote myself calling upon Hecate to break up a couple and my clear quartz started glowing very dimly. Is this a positive sign?

The nature of the spell was dark. But does this indicate something?

I'm not sure you'd like the reason....but since you did ask.

I believe that you're under the influence of wishful thinking. You think that magick means that a crystal will glow when something magickal is happening to it, you did something that you believe is magickal, therefore you believe it is glowing.

I also know that Hecate is not a goddess I'd want to call on to break up a relationship. That is not the kind of behavior that she would condone, as she is fond of keeping households intact.

So yes, my hope is that you've tricked yourself into seeing something that wasn't there and that you'll learn from the experience, come to the realization that the Craft is not a toy, and go find another hobby if you're not willing to take it seriously before you get yourself hurt.

Juliaki is correct. You picked the wrong goddess. You had better hope that Hecate didn’t take notice because she has a tendency to hand out some serious butt kickings to those who tick her off.

lol, glowing crystals...ah the only thing that my crystals have come close to glowing was reflecting light from another source.

though i have a question, why do you constantly wish to call on other beings to do your dirty work, why can't you use your own energy? entities arent our slaves.

it might have been something else, but i was going through some articles and i found one about goddess hecate. The article stated that she is a really active goddess, and she is most likely to provide what you need, rather than what you want. But there are many different viewpoints on everything.
