The Hills O'er Yonder

Look and see those hills o'er yonder
Those lofty impressive peaks hidden in a misty haze
Let us go and upon their slopes and wander
And travel through the wooded maze
Let us search for our souls in this vast range
And become lost in the hills for days
Entering the peace of nature may first seem strange
But let your worries be lifted by the suns warm rays
So my friends let us go wander
Far away in the hills o'er yonder

Thanks! It was inspired by the Appalachian Mountains.

I was there last week. They are quite beautiful. I love going and visiting the hills.

Oh damn. If my father was still alive he could have written a song to it. See... he played five string banjo for a band... if you've ever heard of Jim Crockett. He played bluegrass mostly. Too bad!

That's cool! I was actually thinking about extending it and turning it into a song.
