So there was the eclipse the other night right? well yeah, hours before, during, and hours after the elcipse my magick was toast. It was like trying to push a boulder through the pores in cheese cloth. What ever energy I managed to get in, or out was raw, unfocused. I felt weaker, knowing my that energy was putty in my hands, it was slightly clausterphobic.

I voted "other".
I didn't do any magic.

Hi there! My mood was out of whack and my sister's bf went wacko and got arrested last night. My poor husband went to help her and got in the middle of the freakin swat team. (Sister's bf was carrying knives).
Not sure if it was the eclipse or not but it was a heck of an evening and it was all going on underneath the moon while the eclipse was in effect.
I did a Smudging of my house cause I couldn't stand all the negativity that was going on, I felt like I couldn't breath.

The eclipse last night was 'descending' [Saros cycle]that means it's a time for bringing the hidden into the light, endings then beginnings and a time to 'gather' in energy rather than expending it.I voted improved...

An earlier topic with decent explanations of the Saros and the uses/effects of Lunar Eclipses. If I recall correctly,if the saros is an odd number,it's descending if it's even, ascending.
[ lightbulb moment.lol :This is why some folk think I'm gnostic.]

Oh,almost forgot, the saros cycle[ the 18 year cycle] was known to our stone age ancestors and is 'measurable' at megalithic sites around the world.Alexander Thom studied/researched this some years ago.I think it may be observable at Callanish [on the Isle of Lewis,Scotland]

I have found with Luna eclipses they seem to affect my moods and emotions, quiet strongly so focusing energy work is quiet a challenge.
So I don’t do any on that day, and depending how i feel to a day after it.

I charged a wand with the eclipse energy, and it's... odd. I can't really describe it. It isn't anything like what it started like. So I picked "Other."
