Everything Under the Moon

Okay, bit of a confession. I write alot of poetry. I thought I'd share some, see what other people think of my writing. This one I actually wrote as a song, but here are the lyrics. Most of my other poems are personal.

This poem/song is about the war between angels and demons in pre-time.


O'er the Shadows, but 'low the Light
In neutral grounds, will wage the fight
For truth and justice, for evil and blight
Demons and Angels, Strength and Might


Fang and talon, blade and wing
The trumpet sound, the arrows sing
The Angels fight strong, to hope they cling
The Demons fight wrong, do monstrous things


Come forth O' Beast, bringer of pain
Come forth Mik'hael, your will shall sustain
The Beast gives roar, till breath not remain
Mik'hael no fear, not a grain


The Beast strikes, with tooth and claw
Michael parries, shows no flaw
The Beast blows flame, to burn Mik'hael raw
Mik'hael avoids, and strikes the Beast's maw


The Beast is hurt, so it falls back
Mik'hael pursues, following track
Battle is met, the Beast attacks
With Mighty sword, Mik'hael hacks


Vict'ry is won, blade in it's chest
The demon Beast, is put to rest
Mik'hael has won, he is the best
Light has come, he passed the test


But beware, the Beast may wake
The thunder boom, and Earth shake
A battle again, there shall take
Mik'hael will come, and Peace he'll make


...It's better with music behind it. Hope you all liked it. If I get some motivational comments I may be persuaded to share some more.
