is it possible for 2 people to dream the same dream?

hi there
Just want to share an experience with you all. Dont know if anyone else has had this sort of thing happen to them.
Well here goes....
I'm one of those lucky few that have met their soul mate. We instantly bonded but that's a different story for a different thread. Anyway peter (soul mate) and i have shared dreams. We dream about the same house to the point he will phone me and ask questions about the dreams. like why was i wearing dungarees answer cos we were painting.
now i understand that bit but the bit i don't get is this.
I have what i call my dreaming place. its a recurring dream where i go to sort through life issues. this is not my place where i go when i meditate its somewhere else totally different.
well for the past 3 or 4 years i have felt a presence in my dreaming place but, i didn't see or know who or what was there just that i wasn't alone.
Well peter and i met about 2 years ago and we didn't discuss much in the way of dreams to begin with. that started after peter handed me a painting he painted. It was my dreaming place even the brick work on the cottage was identical. even the gas lamp in the window everything was spot on. He notice i was shocked and he turned and told me hes dreamed of watching me in this place. so i told him about my dreaming place. he still sometimes visits but he still doesn't show himself. don't know why but at least i know who it is.
Peter has also dreamed of my past. even describing the clothes i was wearing. i was a teenager at the time living in a different country, so it was well before i even left home never mind met peter.
does anyone else have dream share or is it just peter and I?
thanks for reading

I have!

Hi Euthena... your post is definitely interesting, thanks for starting up this topic!

My best friend and I have shared a dream (I'm married and he's not interested in girls in that way at all, so we've never though of one another as anything more than very strongly bonded friends,) but anyhow, we do have a shared dream that we both had during our childhood years. We didn't actually meet till I was 14 and he was 20, and we didn't learn of this mutual connection until several years later. Regardless though, we both believe our dreams were a memory of a shared past life. In my version of the dream, I was down in the sand holding my basket looking up at him and in his version, he was looking down at me from above. (There's much more to it than that, I'm just giving the general idea.)

It was an awesome occurrence, that day we discovered our shared pasts, and the continuing bond is ever-present. He also has very easy access to my dreams (astral travel) -and I have a very strong empath connection to him. (I can absorb his physical pain with very little attempt and tap into his emotions and inner-being as well.) -Not sure if that has anything to do with our prior shared-past lives or not, but it's certainly interesting. :28:

Bright Blessings to you and your love... you definitely have something really special there!

I'd suggest doing some looking into the possibility of their being a shared past life between you two, possibly in connection with your "special dream place"...) :28:

My boyfriend and I are the same really.
We have visited each other astrally and shared dreams since we were children, we physically met at 14, however.
Then he began to visit me astrally and it all felt exceptionally real.
Then after he confided in me that he has premonitions, he usually dosen't remember them until they happened.
I plan on helping him with this.
And then he mentioned visiting someone and I asked him what happened. And it mirrored everything I remembered.
Even poking me in the head while I was asleep.
<.<.
And this was before we began going out.
