someone screaming in my ear/growling/talking???help

Hello everyone!
im looking for some help/advice, this has been happening to me for the last maybe 5 years or so, Ive heard something talking in my ear, one time i was fixing the back of my CD player and something said very loudly said "dont touch that" in my ear but yet it also sounded like a whisper but amplified, apart from this time its usually when im asleep or in bed.. i dont know what it is, i've been reading that its spirits maybe trying to communicate with me, but alot of the time ive woken up out of my sleep from something screaming in my ear or loud bangs Im trying to read more about this now because last night i was terrfied as yet again the same thing happened but i was lying awake at 3oclock this morning and something growled very loudly in my ear.

Can anyone give me some advice as to what this is?it'd be much appreciated especially the growl as it scared the hell out of me!

Your post sound a lot like the one I posted on another forum (that which brought me here) and it was suggested by one of the members there that I look into the "Shamanic Way" as they felt the spirits were calling me.

Okay i guess i need to do some research, i was just looking for some advice as to what it was. I'm quite new to all this, i do get very vivid dreams then sometimes the dreams would come true. I have tarot cards and do some palm reading but that would be about it. I'd like to develop it a bit more but have no clue were to start!

I've also been experiencing something like that recently. My friend told me that it might be because of my tarot cards. Something to do with it calling spirits every time I use it. So now my friend is helping me take care of it, I'll inform you if it goes well.

Place a white candel in the corner of every room in your home close all the windows leave your back and front door open. Light all the candles and allow them to burn out the 12 hour ones work the best so start this early in the morning. This will get rid of any thing bad in the house.

Sounds like your hearing spirits and other subtle forces. (Perhaps your own higher self even.) The reason it usually happens when you are asleep or in bed is because that is a very similar state as being in a meditative trance. Your defenses and ego begins to drop allowing you to become aware of more things.

had another experience a few nights after the growling, i very clearly heard someone saying hello? but it was said as if it was asking me if i was there so to speak.. i said "im sleeping" and it went away. i havent had anything since, i do keep tarot cards and things in my room and im not sure if this is why, i also feel as though something is watching me from the corner of the room and i still keep waking up randomly at 3am and 3.30. ive been in different places though where it has happened, i was staying away from home one night in a hotel and something was speaking to me again, although i was too shocked to understand what it was saying to me and wasnt focused enough.. dont know where to go from here...

Meditate.

Ask and meditate on allowing only beings of the light to interact with you.
Ask and meditate on receiving the message that is being conveyed to you to be clear an easy to understand.

This happens to me quite often as well. It comes and it goes, but mainly it happens when I've been really involved in my Craft.

When it happens at night before you go to sleep (I believe) it happens because your body is slipping into another realm of living (or death) because you know sleep has been quoted as being "little slivers of death" and I think there is some truth to that. (But that's an entire idea within this one)

What you can do is light a tea light in your room or a votive (in a votive holder) and simply light it, ask the Goddess (or god, or diety you are most comfortable with. I usually call upon the moon) to bless my rest and protect me and enable me a good restful night. Say a small blessing, you can also light incense if you'd prefer. Then, in a normal house voice ask the being in the room to please respect your sleep and that you can have your time with them, on your terms.

It also helps when casting circles and when you do call spirits. Because those hanging around normally will know that you aren't there to betray them or banish them, just that you want them to respect them on your tersm and you will return it. It sets a barrier and helps strengthen your power of those around you.

I will definately try this, i don't mind them trying to communicate with me, i just don't know how to go about trying to explore this? anyone any ideas?

You can try trancing out. Lighting a candle and focus on it until you feel completely enveloped into the light. Open your mind to what is around you. More than material, more than what you are sitting on, everything.

Lay back if you can or want.

If you are sitting up, having your palms up. It's a symbol that you're open to things around you.

Just breath and meditate. Let things come to you. Don't push it, just let the universe know you're open to anything it's willing to share.

Make sure to have a clear mind before you start and be neutral or at the very least not have any negativity hanging around.

I truely feel you welcome the types of spirits your energy is sending out. If you're stressed or angry and you send out vibes as such... you'll probably end up welcoming something very nasty. (Although you can do this just to meditate and get rid of that stuff... just make sure that you aren't sending out a welcome mat to the spirits around you as you try to clear your head and get back to neutral.)

I too have had this a few times (loud bangs and screams when sleeping, perhaps heard my name in a shout/scream, that part is fuzzy.

There was another thread started on the same topic which suggested the spirit world had chosen you for communications, or certain spirits needed you to awaken to their communications.

It would make sense.

I was wondering, since we are on the topic, if anyone had any advice to figure out if this is indeed the case. Meditation is a good start but something more objective almost?

Keep a dream journal. This will make you more cognizant while you are in dream states allowing you to possible get a clearer picture of what it is.

Its a strange request in a field that is subjective by nature i know!

The dream journal sounds like a good idea though, i may have to get a notepad!
