If you are born more towards the beginning or ending of a year would you be more two elements ( I know this sentance is odd but I can't for the life of me make it correct.)

Perhaps something like: If you are born very early or very late in a year would you then have aspects of two separate elements influencing you?

And if this is so, what is defined as early or late?

This is what I was also wondering about. I was born 5 hours before the new year. According to the chart, my element is earth, yet I can definitely see characteristics of water.

The Tibetan system and the Chinese system relate directly to this cosmology. Other pagan systems relate however they use systems based on four rather than five.

Well, that confirms it. I thought my element was fire, but both my zodiac - Capricorn - and this say my element is earth, since I was born in 1990.

But my zodiac is Leon.. May that mean I'm fire, yet I have a little of the water,mineral and nature in me?
