hi,

I do have some spells, what did you have in mind? here's one that calms a person down if their upset.

oh goddess,
of light,
I ask of thee,
some peace,
for me,
this is my will
so it be.

just use white candle to burn for and hour and look at the flame focus on the flame and say the words above. this is just a simple spell it works when your upset or angery.

hugs

It's all about that personal connection, if it is personal and emotional (happy/sad/protective/loving/hating etc...) then it will be powerful, both psychologically and more.

My best advice on writing a spell is to be clear about what you want. Just because you have clearly written spell doesn't mean it is clear on what you want.

I agree...one thing I have learned over the years is to think long and hard about what I want before I cast because if not I get alot of werid things lol

I have a spell notebook that i keep. I always use 3 pages for one spell:

On the 1st page I take time for a day or two and think about what i want (and I write it all down)

On the 2nd page I sort though the things I wrote on the 1st page and decide what i really want.

And then on the 3rd page, i write the spell.

I agree, emotions are key when writing.
All spells are, are poems with clear intentions. None of that confusing stuff you read in old-time peoms.
I usually write really good when im really angry. And thats because im veryy loud when im angry. And words flow.
Sooo, yeaa.

The best tip I can offer for a new spell is to have it come from a pure place. Remember the intent behind the spell and work with that. There are really no hard and set rules even though the Wiccan Rede says it should be "spoke in rhyme". Good luck!
