Yeah, second night in a row without any sleep... I NEED something to induce sleep. I am about to leave for high school so I can only imagine what my day will be like. Please let there be an herb that can help me...

Thanks guys!

what kind of herbs to you have? Personally I have had awful insomnia, sleeping only 2 or 3 hours out of 34 - 38. I started burning some mugwort in my cauldren, drinking a tea made with; mugwort, passionflower, hibiscus, smidge of licorise root, pinch of jasmine, a little hops.

I also take some Elderberry syrup, a cough/cold remedy to help with this damn cough/cold I have been fighting forever.

since I started this routine, I am sleeping 8 straight. Ahhhhhh

Thanks so much for sharing! I've been having that problem somewhat too.
I drink some chamomile tea too that helps a little, but I'll definitely try this tea! Thank you.

Use the leaves, and flowers if there are any. You clip off the leaves, boil some water and pour it over the leaves and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain and enjoy :D

Not Valerian, but I have heard from others that it works. Hops I have tried though. I didn't like the taste, but it helped quite a bit.

Thank you guys so much! I am about to go to my supplier to get all these things. I already have a cabinet full of Mugwort so I will have to burn that more. And this tea sounds delicious :D

For sleep you want Valerian Root tea. You can buy it at many herbal shops and some places that sell vitamins and such. I usually just spoon the roots into a French coffee press which is my favorite way to work with loose teas of any kind. If you don’t have a French coffee press then just spoon the roots into the tea pot and strain the tea as you pour it into your cup.

Be warned! This stuff will drive a cat nuts and makes stinky gym socks smell good lol.

Important Note! I suggest NOT using the capsules that they sell in stores. Such supplements are not regulated by the FDA and you often don't get what you think you're getting.

Tried the Valerian tea today! It did make me wanna sleep at first, but then like 30 or so minutes later I was just calm. (: It was very very nice!! I mixed some peppermint in it too, not bad tasting!

You guys are awesome, I mixed all of the above (except Hops, she didn't have any but she will in a week). After I frank it all I can remember was waking up in the morning. =D

I also added some Lavender and Vanilla. Tastes amazing.
