Alright, so to start off, I can talk to the wind. It's something I've been able to do for a couple of years now; talk to the wind, but not control it. So recently, last week, I went outside and began talking to the wind. Then I thought that it would be really nice if I could, you know, become one with the wind or something. So I grabbed my father's staff and went out to an area of our land that was equal distance from all trees, fences, etc. I stood there, concentrated, offered myself. I could feel the wind almost as if it was going through me and around me all at once. And then a cow mooed. It wasn't just a moo - it was more of a death-cry. My head jerked up and I opened my eyes and I had completely lost all of the work I had made with the wind. When I tried again, another cow mooed. Upon talking to the wind about it, it told me that it couldn't talk to me anymore. Now thoroughly exasperated, I asked the gods (I worship the Greek pantheon) what the problem was. Crows kept calling and cows kept mooing, so I strongly suspect this to be the work of Apollo, whom I feel I have a good connection with. But I just don't understand why Apollo wouldn't want me to be with the wind.
Any ideas?

I would think if anything he was protecting you. I would suggest meditating on it, try to converse with him and ask him he might be very direct about it.
"If you take a copy of the Christian Bible and put it out in the wind and the rain,
soon the paper on which the words are printed will disintegrate and the words will be gone.
Our bible IS the wind and the rain."

Hmm, that seems like a good idea (if I can concentrate today). Thanks!
But I wonder what he's protecting me from, if he is protecting me...? I know there was that one myth with Apollo and Zephyrus, the East wind, where they were both in love with a young boy (Hyacinthus, I think) and Zephyrus got jealous and made the discus Apollo threw slice Hyacinthus's head off...

Re: What does this mean? (Apollo)
Just an update: Recently I discovered that everything seems to be in cahoots. The wind tells the crows (messengers of Apollo) and the crows tell Apollo and Apollo tells the cows. I found this out today because today I was going to form a coven (I just came in from doing it, and I have succeeded!) and early this morning, all of the crows took off. I thought this was odd, but didn't really think much about it. Then later on today the crows came back and I figured it out. We couldn't do the ritual where we wanted to because the stupid cows were in the way. But we got it done anyway... And a couple of days ago I tried talking to Apollo about it, but all I could concentrate long enough to hear was "Well, my dear..." and then I got distracted. :/
