AM I ALREADY A WITCH???

Hi to all...
after all the researches iv done ... i'v build my altars.. studied my lesson very well as in every night for about a couple of months and casted simple spells... prayed to the gods and goddes...i already have few incense and candles of different colors i have now my bos... now how should i know if i am a witch already??

An interesting question and I think you will get many different viewpoints. Some people say that you are a witch when you have completed your year and a day training, others from the day you dedicate yourself to the path of witchcraft. I certainly see no problem with calling yourself a witch already, if it feels right to you then it is right for you.

actually i am very intouch with charms and crystals , incense ever since i was 16... but at first i didnt know that it was a witches thing... i am just feel that i have a connection with all of this ... i am also interested in tarrot card reading my grandmother used to read cards.. until one day one of my frend teaches me a spell which i found it very effective and that is where all it started... at first i dont have the proper knowledge of the craft i am just collecting spells from people who shares the same interest... until i decided to check on line for more information about witch craft... i believe that i am practicing spell casting for 2 years but dedicate myself for more knowledge and get hooked for a couple of months...

You are a witch when you decide that you are. If you are committing yourself to the study and practice, then you're a witch.
I don't think it should be so complicated as having to complete some kind of ritualistic training. The God and Goddess aren't so fickle as that, they will accept you as soon as you put yourself to their service, I believe.

Greenvixen I see that like many starters, you have the wrong conception here, there is nothing special to make you a witch, you are a Witch since you practice witchcraft (spells,charms,rituals the whole package), so don't feel any less than a witch, since you are one already...don't worry!

Like what the above posters have said, you're a witch when you say you are a witch. I have heard people say that you aren't technically a witch until you enter a coven and are initiated, but what about all the solitaries out there who either can't enter a coven for various reasons or don't because they prefer the feeling they get during solo practice?

thank you for the information... in my place its hard to find a coven .... people here have a little understanding about witch once they heard that you are a witch they tot that you are practicing black magic and you are evil.... that is why im a closet ... i prefer to do it on my own... i dont wanna go or enter in any coven... i like it solo... now i know that i am already a witch =) im happy to know that i am now one...
