Then the opinions here might differ too, because htis isn't a science, its he said she said.

But what I do know from science, a gem for example can charge in sunligth and when pressure is applied to it it releases it, also water can be charged the same way to make it more alkaline supposedly, which I have tried. Also, water is more of an insulator than a conductor, and gems are insulators too.

So if what you want to charge is a conductor, I wouldnt be sure how to charge it, because it transfers heat and electricity usually very well, so perhaps wrapping it with a specific type of insulator could keep it in the insulators charged energy sort of like a battery. Like you could have the conductor (metal object?) inside a hand crafted wooden container that you made from a specific type of wood you researched or something, then when you want tpo have the same energy as that wood you could open it and touch th emetal for alittle bit, then put it back, idk.

But also different metals conduct slightly differently, like one might not conduct heat as well, another might conduct electricity poorly. Also the shape of the metal does determine effectiveness and type of conduction, so technically if it has an odd shape or design then it could subtly influence the energies, so if you want to do something like that it could still work, or you could have a piece of jewelry for example, the gem on it and the metal is a conductor, th egem an insulator, technically the gem might be exposed to your energies, and you to its energies, but you are warmer so technically the heat conduction would go towards it, but if you put it in the sunlight or something it could charge that way then you could wear it, though itd take hours of sunlight, and idk hwo many days or hours it lasts, but itd change depending on material, and different gems would probably have different properties.

With something like wood, it wouldnt act like th egem in the sunlight because its more complex and it has moisture in it and it can biodegrade etc, so putting it into sunlight might not work for wood or clothing, but clothes can be fresher when hung outside which is still significant, and perhaps with the wood, its energy is stored from when it was alive, so burning it coudl release its energy technically and different wood types might smell differently, but people would probably prefer frankinscence or something to burn if they were to burn something.

well wood could also be a decent container to store energy, like if you have a collection of gems that charged in the sunlight you could put it into a wooden container to store it for later.

Depending on the size of the item you can place it on your alter pentacle (or just a central location on your working space) and cast a circle (like during an esbat or sabbat) and during your ritual activities you will naturally charge energy, before closing the circle you normally ground the energy only this time you can direct the energy straight into the item or you choice.
If you have an altar pentacle and you place an object on it, the pentacle will help draw energy into it from its location.

Hope this helps

I hold the item I wish to charge, and I whisper my intent into the object. Then send some personal energy into it.

I agree with raynelae. After I whisper my attempt, I speak in a normal voice " so mote it be" or any other closing phrase.

My method is that I cast a circle around the item and pull the energies I wish it to be charged with into the circle. After that, I leave the item for a bit, letting it absorb as much energy as it needs on it's own. I then close the circle and thank the good lord and lady. I believe that the item can filter the energy on it's own. So I leave it so I dont mess it up and let in any negative enrgies.

Blessed be you in your quest :D

When I can, I stand in front of my alter, object in hand...
Taking my time grounding and focusing all my attention on object...
I draw the energy up my grounding cord to charge the object.
I speak something along the lines of "I cleanse you of negative
energy..." depending on what I'm going to use the object for
has alot to do with how I word the next part.
