Magic Cat Dream

Postby Moonstone Ivy » Mon May 21, 2012 11:41 am

I had a dream where I was casting a spell but left half way through. When I came back my cat had joined in and was chanting the spell. It sounds wierd but i was wondering whether it meant anything? Then when i woke up my cat was sleping in my bed.

To perform or dream of magic suggests that you need to look at things from a different view or approach your problems from a new angle in order to successfully move forward. Alternatively, magic symbolizes creativity and wonder. Perhaps someone or something has caused you to be in awe. The dream may also be a metaphor that you or someone is "up to some trick".

That is all what i can say about your dream, not every little detail in every dream has a specific important meaning.
Even this type of dream can tell us a few things though - even if it's only how we feel about something or someone. When you get right down to it, nearly all dreams are about how we feel about something or other.

I got interested in this field, ironically, because I work a long and boring third shift and don't sleep much. While surfing the Internet one night, I found a cooperative dream interpretation site called DreamLynx. It still exists, if you ever want to try your hand at a few translations, at http://dreamlynx.com/

There isn't any special course of study for this, although, as I said, psychology helps a lot. Some universities will offer an occasional course on dream interpretation, but I've never taken any of those.

My own method of dream translation is rather unique, and much of it hinges upon language. Because of that, I don't do as well trying to translate dreams from people who speak some other language than English as their primary language. I also lose some references if the dreamer's culture is not North American.

You can view a fairly complete explanation of my methods at this location: http://www.airebor.com/dreamwalker/archives/000167.html

I would like to tell you that you shall not worry about every dream, but you can always bring things to your attention and try to understand if your dreams are telling you something.

Good luck!

I was thinking perhaps your cat was your familiar and that they assist in your magickal workings even in your dreams.

Oh yeah, i agree with fire.
I was looking only at the point of telling you the dream's meaning and not what the cat might be for you, so listen to her smileydance
