Lilith Rosary Beads?

Re: Lilith Rosary Beads?
There are a lot of people who are mixing the Catholic Rosary with paganism now, I don't know why it was started but I think its a nice idea. I'd suggest making your own prayers an meditations for each bead/set of beads and using images that have meaning to you instead of basic charms that is unless you want something more pagan-y like a charm of your goddess/god.

I think its not such a bad idea, I just was shocked at first lol, I didnt expect them to really join to religions together like that, especially in refrence to Lilith. If I knew anything about rosary beads and how to make them I would

The rosary is simple you have a chose pendant/charm that hangs in the middle of the bottom to represent your faith or who you are praying to, 3 beads for saying 3 specific prayers to your god/goddess another bead to represent your faith or the deity then as you now branch off of that bead to one side you have 10 smaller beads where you say a prayer while meditating on a specific part of your deity's life generally birth is where we start, you say the same prayer for these 10 beads as you meditate on the beginning life, and you have 5 sets of these 10 beads bringing you back to the start, between each set of ten you have a larger bead another prayer one said in the first 3 beads is fine unless you'd like to use a different prayer but for these larger beads its the same prayer.
the sets of 10 should focus on the following, the birth, childhood or first miracle, adult life or 2nd miracle, old age or 3rd miracle and finally the last is the death and reincarnation.

I have used Buddhist beads for meditating. You could make up your own. I used rose hips and strung them while they are soft. Space them as you see fit...days of the week...days of the month...number of Sabbats...number of moons, ...whatever!... add a special bead at certain junctures. Make it beautiful! Find a mantra, of make one up.... and calm your mind with this great tool.

I'm thinking since this was posted, of making ones to sell from my online shop using elements and numbers important to pagan faiths and with each one including a booklet of prayers and meditations to go along with the "rosary" I'll most likely come up with another name but how does that sound for those who aren't inclined to the arts-n-crafts?

Re: Lilith Rosary Beads?
I picked up a new type of clay to work with and its air-dry...its taking forever to dry because I made the pieces thick lol.
Re: Lilith Rosary Beads?
Have you ever tried to make those rose scented beads? from the actual rose petals? They're pretty cool but it takes a lot of work and patience...but in the end you have these kinda blackish red beads that smell great!

Re: Lilith Rosary Beads?
no I've never tried to make the rose petal beads I'm afraid that I'm such an impatient person I'd screw up the process but another idea would be to incorporate rose petals into/onto the clay beads with rose essential oil drops. I found a pretty cool tutorial on how to do a lotus flower I may give that a go mixed with rose petals if I can find some for a decent price (my dad's rose bush hasn't been producing any roses)
for now i'm going to stick to the basic materials I have and see how it turns out if its good enough I'll make 'em with better materials. now to do the writing for the prayers
