I don't think there is anything wrong with only being a solitary. I'm one myself because it has always seem too difficult to deal with a group. I'm much more comfortable with one-to-one interactions anyway.
That being said, I have a feeling that a right group of people will emerge eventually when I'm ready to open up to "perfect love and perfect trust." I'm sure being able to work as a group would be amazingly powerful, but if I'm never ready, I am sure the Lady won't judge me. And that's all that matters.
Is It Wrong to Just Be Solitary?
Re: Is it 'wrong' to be only solitary?
I agree with you. I'm not even the type of person to join groups so maybe solitary is more for me. I even tried looking up Covens around me and didn't find any. More people are into the metaphysical and holistic ideas than Wicca. Maybe once I become more experienced I'll try harder or make my own.

Re: Is it 'wrong' to be only solitary?
Both solitary and groups have their pros and cons. To share a few that I have observed, usually a commitment is made and there is a requirment to come to meetings (for some groups). The best thing about a group is that its easier to share information. Like a forum, but someone can actually show you and vice versa. Whereas the solitary thing you can make your own schedules. Also, probably the reason why I personally haven't commited to a group is that there usually are politics within the group. I don't have much patience with that.
