I just wanted to know what you guys give as thanks for our Lord and Lady/other deities. I've heard of people giving left overs to them after dinner, juice they would have thrown out, or cakes and ale (crickets... Bueller?)
I'd like some ideas, also. Is anything commonsense acceptable? (food, bird seed, flowers, etc.)
I usually leave wine in spring and summer, apple cider in the fall and winter. I also leave flowers, nuts, cakes, cookies, fruits, etc. all depending on the season. I do that for the fey folk in the woods around my house too.

Think like the Crone
I've left apple offerings the most. For Samhain this year, the Lord and the Lady got part of my dinner, part of a caramel apple and candy. I used to have a pretty candy bowl that was to be my offering bowl, but it disappeared during one of the times that I moved. I think that I wasn't meant to have that one. If I'm meant to have one, I'd like to think that it will find me.
I've heard Apple's are good for the God ans goddess. They are fruitful, represent youth and are sweet to eat! Around samhain it's a common spell to carve what you want to leave in the past, like a characteristic you may not like about yourself, and bury it. This way, it degrades into the earth along with your wish, and it allows for the earth to be nourished.
