Does anyone have a spell to make moon water

I am babysitting my Niece tonight ( she is 11) and she is very interested in spells and magic. She has been having a tough time lately and I thought since it was a full moon it would be a perfect time to let her start exploring it. I have talked it over with her mother, she agrees and feels it is a good idea. She is a very smart child and super compassionate towards all living creatures (even plants). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I am aware Moon water is simply water that is charged by the power of the moon on the full moon. You put it in the vessel and set it out in a place all night where it will absorb the moons full light. If you want to make it even more magical you could have a chant and call the powers of the moon into the water as well. Add in visualization of the moons light brightening the water and there you go.

I've been thinking about making some too. Does it have to be placed outside? Or is a windowsill with plenty of moon light enough to charge it? I want to chant but the night time bugs in my area are murder.

Ideally it would be outside to get the full moons light. If you need to be inside for what ever reason than you can do it inside just make sure that nothing blocks the moon light in the water.

I have made it inside in the winter by putting it in the window the moon shines in all night. Tonight I will go outside and draw the moon down into the water. Hopefully, it rained when they said it shouldn't and has been cloudy.

I have my container set up in full moonlight, I can't find a good chant though. Any suggestions?

oh and dont forget to concentrate the bottle you plan on making the water in you dont wont negative or bad energies messing with your moon water

She loved it , we had a talk about magic and how it is a personal experience . We live in Texas and not a huge city so it is not the normal at all. Thank you and everyone else so much for the help, it made a little girl that needed some magic in her life right now VERY happy.

This is a really lovely thread.

My daughter and I made moonwater for the first time during the last full moon (June 13, 2014). We loved the excitement of simply filling up a container with water and leaving it outside, in the moonlight, to charge. The next morning, we drank our moonwater and it tasted incredible; it even felt different in our mouths. Magical. I look forward to us doing this every full moon!

That is wonderful!!! We didn't drink ours the next day because I wanted her to save it for when she needed it . The whole reason for doing it when we did was because she went to summer camp for the week and was getting back that Friday (the 13th and full moon) and I was planning on babysitting her for the night . The night before she returned home one of her "friends" she went to camp with ( there were 4 girls total including my niece) was being a bully to her and the next day she was riding home with the little girl and her mother along with the other 2 little girls. I found out not only was the little girl being mean to her but the mother was also being mean on the ride home ( a 4 hour trip). The one that was bullying invited the other 2 little girls to have a slumber party right in front of my niece at which time she was fighting back tears ... to an 11 year old that can be very hurtful. So after work when I got to her house she was already there ( her older sister 17 , was watching her till I got there and then she was going to a friends) she was crying. I had heard from her mother what was happening earlier in the day and decided she needed a little magic in her life. I told her to hold on to the moon water and whenever she felt bad to use a little.I must also confess I told her she needed to keep her room tidy because it was special and the mess could weaken it , I know shame on me . But she is crafty and not so tidy which drives her O.C.D mother insane lol. So far it has helped , she called me the other day and told me that she had used some of the water to put on her rocks (she collects stones and rocks) and asked if that was ok, I said of course it was and that it was a great idea. Over all it has helped her and gave her a bit of confidence , which over all was the goal.
