Patron and Matron God

Hey everyone. I'm new to this whole thing, but've had an interest in it for some time now. I wanted to dive into spells and the like, but after reading threads on here, I decided to search for my patron/matron God first. That way I had some guidance along the way and someone to watch out for me.

I've been meditating, asking Spirit for help leading me to my God and Goddess. Every time I do, I get these strange feelings. One part of my body always feels incredibly warm, like it's being burnt. I experienced first on my collarbone and then my hands. Both times it felt like fire was around them. I also feel little pin-pricks stabbing into my skin all over my body - mainly arms, back, and neck - as well. I was hoping you guys could help me figure out who's sending me these signs.

Just a bit more background info and I'll be done. I've always been extremely fascinated with Diana. You can trace my dad's roots all the way back through Italy and Diana happens to be my last name. There's also been an attraction beyond that as well, but I'm currently too tired to think of the right words to describe it. Also I'm a fire sign (Sagittarius). Could that have any effect on why a potential fire god/goddess could be contacting me? And could the pin pricks I feel possibly be Diana's arrows or is that a stretch?

If you haven't already been reading all you can about Diana (and you may well have, it sounds like), it might be a good place to start to maybe bring in a little clarity.

You could also ask your dreams or guides what the sensations mean while you're in a meditative state, sometimes that works.

I think it's probably best to keep a journal of these activities and your suspected thoughts in them. In time I'm sure they will reveal their meaning.

I will second the keeping a journal. It's good to keep track of things. Pay attention because they will speak to you. Researching is always good. It could be possible to have association with your birth sign. Sagittarius is an archer.

Aphrodite (my goddess) falls right into my birth sign, not sure if it's significant or not.

Thank you everyone on the advice. I've started keeping a journal as a result, hoping for some clarity through recording everything. So far there's been no signs other than what I've already mentioned. Hopefully that result will change soon enough through my research and meditation.
