Could it be carved from pine or cedar? My friend found a fallen cedar branch deep in the woods around my neighborhood and carved a claw out of it. He left about an inch of bark at the base. So we could carve things out of cedar or pine, drill a hole in the base and put some string through it?

By the way, I'm starting to make the draft for spell procedures.

I have to go for now. While its lunch time for you, its 1:30 am for me and I have to go church today in 7 and 1/2 hours. I usually pray to Serket at 9:30. Would it be bad to "go to the bathroom" and pray there during church?

Alright so here's our ingredients for the spell so far:

For the Amulet:
Antler tip (substitution/alternative: Cedar or Pine wood)
Apatite for maintaining focus and concentration

A piece of blue colored paper
Pen
Blue Glitters
Gold Ribbon/cord
Blue cypress oil
Moon water
Ochre paint

Spell Candles:
One blue candle
One orange candle
One green candle
One astrologically compatible coloured candle

Uhmmm, what else, did I miss something?

Add three drops of blue cypress to the moon water and charge by rolling the mixing bottle between the palms of your hands and visualizing the liquid being empowered with focus and concentration (water and oil are immiscible, but heck! this is a once in a blue moon spell so I think it's good to use unusual mixture like this).

Then position the blue candle on the altar, the orange one to its back, the green one to its right and the personal one to the left. Light the blue candle and meditate for a few minutes on some rare, exceptional, unusual and unique projects or endeavors you want to focus on before painting the antler tip or the woods with the rune symbol for productivity or the Chinese sigil or both (depends on you), and anointing it with the charged oil/water mixture. If you are hoping to create projects, activities, etc. to focus on for yourself draw the oil towards you: if you are sending out projects and activities, work away from yourself.

After that, grab your pen and blue colored paper and cut it into one full circle shape. Make a list of all the things you would want to focus on, to concentrate on and to fulfill. Anything, even those you think that are impossible to achieve. Think of the "once in a blue moon," things. Write them in the Theban script using black or blue ink on white or blue paper.

Now, roll the paper and tie it with the gold ribbon or cord. Put the paper inside the vial and sprinkle the blue glitters.

Take the antler tip/woods, the stone, and your vial under the Blue full moon. Hold the the objects and say a prayer to the Moon.

(Okay at this moment, I'm thinking of creating something like this: Buffy-Inspired-protection Charm-- we're going to use anointed antler tip/woods, the apatite stone, and the glass vial with glitters and sparkles representing blue night. I'm not good at wire-wrapping so perhaps Xiao could helps us and sheds some light how to make this.)

Now, put the talisman in front of the personal candle. Light the personal candle and as you focus on the flame, say:

"Candle and flame, clear my sight"

As you recite the phrase, focus on your third eye (I personally think Azure's idea about painting an Eye of Horus on forehead is a good one, I think we could all try that if we want to do something unique), the invisible eye that looks and concentrate more favorably on the positive side of things. It is this eye that determines what shall be occurred and what shall not. Not based on other people's thinking and external circumstances but on your belief and desire.

If you see dark clouds during your visualization, obscuring the positive white light of your inner self, take time to form in your mind's eye a crystal shell around you. Begin visualizing a ring of crystal rising around you, from your feet upwards, getting higher and higher. When the crystal ring reaches the top of your head (fontanel), form any shape in which you feel comfortable to be enclosed.

And then after that, focus on the light energy of the Blue Moon flowing into you above. The light goes down your body, cleansing you like a crystal being cleansed by the moonlight. Feel the light flows down, brightly shining and overcoming all the dark clouds and mists which represent stressful thoughts, lingering anxieties, problems, obstacles, etc.

Now light the green candle and focusing on the flame, say:

"New horizons as they stretch out for me
May my focus be always in positivity"

See yourself in a position of authority for a minute or two before lighting the orange candle and saying:

"Fill my mind with focus and new ability
As I will them, let them be."

Seraphin, as to how I wire-wrapped the little wooden "stake" in my Buffy charm -- I cut 2 notches into the stake so the wire has something to grip onto as it wraps around the wood ... at the top you can just make a simple loop where you can thread it on a chain, or connect to another bead, or hang it on a wire, etc. (hope that made sense ... ?)

Sorry guys, I haven't able to update this and reply to your questions yesterday because I spent my day buying the stuffs we need for this spell. So I just acquired my antler tip, the vial, and the glitters yesterday. The antler tip that I got is sooo small and I personally didn't want that one because of the size (it's hard to paint anything on it) but for some reason I kept going back to it until finally something inside me said GET IT you goofball!!!! and I finally got it . I knew what I was being led to but I still had that inner battle with my mind hehe.

Anyway, FF I like Azure's idea of just putting the wood/antler tip and stone in the vial and then seal it. That's a lot easier!

And Xiao, thank you for your input!

I was just checking the schedule and we only have 3 days left (4 days in U.S.) before the Blue Moon so I'll try to post the final draft later today or in the wee hours as we do want everyone to have as much time to prepare and rehearse as possible!
