Hello from a curious soul :)

Postby mrsdavid1975 » Wed Sep 16, 2015 9:49 pm

I was lucky enough to have a babysitter when I was 12 who had bookshelves from floor to ceiling with books on witchcraft. I was taught folk ways by my family but she was my official go to " witch". She was even French and her name was Eliane. I was enamored with her. Lol.

I hope you find your personal mentor. It's a gift

Everything happens for a reason. And she's probably meant to be yours.

She and I had a long conversation last night, caught up with each other, and she taught me several things. She said she is there for me any time I need her and will teach me. Bless her. I couldn't be happier :)

I agree. One day when I'm vastly more experienced, I will repay the favor to someone in need. :)

Haha "Mama Witch". That's funny. I used to call her "Other Mom" when I was a kid.

I don't know if this is the place for this, but unless a mod has issue I may share my experiences from time to time as I'm beginning my journey :)

This morning before work, I had my first go with magick. The idea came from this forum, and was a simple cleansing spell of myself in the shower. I was able to wash away the previous day's stress that still weighed on my mind. I changed it a bit from the one I found here to fit more specifically to my needs, but it worked wonderfully! I can't remember the last time I started the day going to work with a clear mindset and feeling such positivity throughout the day! I've never practiced magick, and cannot be 100% certain that it worked because of magick, but I definitely got a result, so I'd say that was a definite success! I'm not sure of any other explanation other than magick because I felt something from it. I will be repeating this in my daily routine. It's so nice getting your day started in such a way :)

Sometimes it's the simple things that make all the difference.
