Do loved ones leave presents?

For conversations and questions about hauntings and spirit visitations. This is not the place to talk about demons. In fact, this whole board isn't the place for it. A Christian site is a better place for that.

Do loved ones leave presents?

Postby Silver Fox Moon » Mon Mar 21, 2016 10:32 am

I was talking with one of my friends yesterday and she said that sometimes dead loved ones leave small tokens to let you know they are there. For example, a penny or some small symbol that represents them.

My dog passed away in December and a few days after that, a lizard was found on my parents' Christmas tree angel. My dog used to catch lizards when she was younger. Now, I'm seeing lizards cross my path every other day. Is my dog letting me know that she is still with me?

Also, since my dog's death, I've been finding pennies everywhere. I don't know why but I always get this feeling of love and/or peace whenever I find one. Can dogs do that? Can they send more than one message/token? Or is it another spirit? I feel like it could be my grandpa but he died six years ago. He could've been drawn to my sadness when my dog died. Or maybe it's a spirit of someone I don't even know.

Any thoughts?

I have experienced this with people and with pets as well.

My spirit cats are fond of leaving pennies for me. The lizard sounds like a very specific sign from your dog.

I find it so interesting whenever I find something. It's freaky but in a cool/good way. I like receiving those pennies and seeing lizards. I found a penny just yesterday under my friend's car and she was like "That's so cool" because we had just talked about how I kept finding pennies.

Do loved ones leave presents?

Maybe your dog and gramps are in on it together ;) Lol. When my father passed I was a wreck. But I got a message from him with the help of my gerbil. My gerbil got out of his cage somehow. There were no open doors or holes or anything. Then when I looked he was behind my dresser just sitting next to a photo of me and my father that I hadn't seen in years. I was super shocked and knew it was my dad saying hello. As for your situation could be just your dog letting you know he is still with you, and maybe another spirit too. Know one would know better then you. You might want to ask yourself, what do pennies mean to you? Do you know anyone that might have any relation to pennies? How do you feel when you find them? Could pennies symbolize anything for you?

By specific sign, I mean that loved ones will send signs that would mean something to both them, and you. The dog had a thing for lizards, now you have a lizard showing up in a rather unusual place. It's the type of thing that to me, says "Hey! It's me!"

Well, my fifth grade teacher gave me a penny once and said "Find a penny, pick it up, and you'll have good luck." But she's still alive as far as I know. Pennies don't mean anything to me so maybe I'm missing something....? Pennies on heads symbolize luck to me. I found one today and yesterday that were both on heads. I seem to find a penny every day.

Ohhhh, okay. I wasn't sure if you meant she was trying to tell me something other than that. My dog was my baby. I still cry when I think of her. Maybe she's contacting me because she doesn't want me to be sad.

Not a tangible gift, but when I play my violin I still hear my dog howling.
I used to have a Basset Hound named Daisy, and when I was younger (like 8) and was just learning to play the violin, she would howl along with the violin. She didn't live long enough to hear me get good at it. But every now and then, when I take my violin off the shelf, dust it off, and start playing again, I actually hear a howling along with the violin faintly in the background. I also find long whiskers and hairs here and there that don't belong to any of my current dogs.

My malamute mix, Cody, used to howl if I sang. My little gray cat Meg would bite me for the same reason. I don't try to sing anymore.
