Runes and beliefs
Runes and beliefs
Recently I have been getting into runes and been in turn drawn in. This type of divination and symbols seem to agree with me. My question is that although magic and ones path are interchangeable across all "religions", does my belief in the runes there show the proof of Odin and the subsequent gods/goddesses? I'm very much a scientific method kind of person wanting proof before belief, and since runes r working for me and their origin in Norse mythology does that mean I should believe in those gods? Not to say il suddenly develop believe because you tell me to, just if runes are interchangeable like gods from other religions
Re: Runes and beliefs
The simple answer is no, you don't have to subscribe to the northern path to use the runes and even become adept with them, however you will never unlock all the secrets they hold without at least looking to the Allfather as a teacher when you reach the limits of your own ability.
Re: Runes and beliefs
