I didn't realize how prevalent witchcraft and Wicca was in the world until about 4 or 5 years ago. Anyways before I ask the question I want to ask, I got to give you background about my mom. She's pretty psycho, but is also a really caring person at times. She has done many crazy and sometimes evil things that a normal person would get punished for but she always seems to manipulate the situation to favor her. I have heard someone call her a natural witch before, but she never speaks of anything strange, abnormal, spiritual, or supernatural.
She doesn't talk about good, heaven, ghosts, zombies, witches, aliens, gnomes ect. Anyways I have always been suspicious of her being something else besides crazy manipulative or lucky. One night I was drinking a few beers with her and a girl that I know. The girl practices some sort of witchcraft. The girl wasn't even paying attention to my mom, she was off in her own world. The out of the blue she looked my mom in the eyes released a sigh of shock and asked her "are you an enmar(inmar, enomar, or something like that)?".
My mom said "yeah, how did you know?" Then the girl started to bow to her and sort of pray to her for a minute or so. I got irritated and demanded an answer but my mom wouldn't tell me anything and the girl said that she can't tell me. I've done quite a bit of research, maybe in the wrong places, but found little to no explanation. I might be spelling the word wrong, but I would like some credible input if anyone has any.
What is my mom? What is an *enmar*?

That isn't a term I'm familiar with. The closest I can think of right now, is empath. From your girlfriend's reaction though, I don't think that's the term. It sounds like something cultural.

My mum is a natural witch and she probably knows it. She believes in death consciously or otherwise...in little ways.

The closest word I could find to what you are saying is "Angmar," but that is a fictitious kingdom of Middle Earth in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Lord of the Ringwraiths was supposedly the "witch-king" there.
As far as possibly referring to an empath, I can't really see what reason there would be to bow to one. I'm alleged to be an empath myself, and if someone bowed to me it could possibly be because they drank all of my egg nog and want me to have mercy on them.
But I see no reason to bow to an empath, really.

In udmurt vos inmar is the god of the cosmos. The male deity of sky.
