I had a dream last night that left me questioning something.
Can your conscious mind interfere with/battle it out with a dream already in progress?
I know about Lucid dreaming, and I've done it before without meaning to, but this was different.
It was like I wanted to control the dream, but the dream I was already having was unwilling to let me take full control. What I did manage to force into action felt detached and wrong and when I woke up, the part where I knew I was actively trying to control was a blur of unmemorable and meaningless jumble. The dream sequence when I was not trying to control felt really meaningful and had an above average impression on me.
Could I have mucked up an important dream sequence?

If it was important they'll call back
That's an interesting dream scenario & I really do not know.
Could be the meaning is in what actually took place ... Imposing control backfired on the situation (or that's how I'd read it). So the situation doesn't need manipulating. Just look at it at face value.
