So what is everyone's reasons for practicing magick or goals or reason they started?
For me I'm not really sure I have a goal but as far as reason I guess I'd say I'm genuinely interested in studying it and I have a tendency to bump into spirits or magically inclined people I guess? Either way I guess I'd say it's mostly just curiosity I guess?

Well, that depends. There are different sorts of magic after all. There is stuff like protecting your house, or achieving specific goals. I don't do much of goal-oriented spellwork because I usually get by without. I grew up learning that magic was something you needed to be sure about and WANT whatever you are going for. And I don't want too many things that badly.
But I begin to think I should see about making my life a bit easier shortly.

Hmm. Well I was first involved through an interest in Ley-lines and telluric energy uses when learning to raise circles. It seemed to be important to former civilizations so I figured it had benefits. People have often asked me to pray for them so why not combine the two so they can help themselves? Virgo logic I guess.
