The Spring that Wasn't

[Firebird]

coronavirus removed us from the natural world, this is what I wrote about it back then.

All the flowers have fallen down,
From high upon their lofty crowns.
Wilting greenie breezes to see,
In and out and through the leaves.
Throwing beauty to the ground,
Nevermore here to be found.
It's briefy springie energy fleeing,
A season missed for never being.
