So do I, Haley. It's one thing to cast against someone who has seriously wronged you, but one's own father is another story. I can't really say much more than that because I don't know what his motivation was, but I don't think anyone truly wants to harm their parents.

Hi, I just wanted to agree with Ravenwing. I am a Witch who learns about all the religeons behind it but I don't follow a particular 1. I am a kind person at nature and therefore do not like hurting people on purpose ever!!! I have, however, cast a spell against someone who truly hurt me once, it wasn't a really nasty spell but I wanted her to feel the pain that I did, and I think it worked, though I don't see her now. I haven't had anything back from it since that I can put my finger on but it mwas only a year a go so I'm not ruling it out. I don't think it would come x 3 though. What I send out will come back to me as it was sent.

I tend to think about it like this:

Say your spell was a person. If you cast a spell to help someone, that person is generally good. If you cast to do harm, that person is like an assasin. Just like if you were to send an assasin after someone, he will eventually come knocking back at your door. My philosophy is this: never send out something that you wouldn't be willing to let back in.

Sorry if that doesn't have anything to do with this....I tend to rant.
