Ok, I'm not really sure why I am posting this, but I just felt like telling someone because I can't tell anyone else, because they will ask how I found this out...and I really don't want it getting back to my mom.

I have a 22 year old female spirit living in my house. She has lived here for the past 5 years. I also found out that she died from rape. But the scary part is that her name is Rebecca, and you people are probably wondering how this is scary...Well my mothers name is Rebecca, but she is alive, and that is who I am currently living with. She doesn't seem to have any problems with us, because we have been living in this house for the past 3 years. and nothing too abnormal has happened, besides the occasional sterio messing up, lights getting turned on, or doors getting opened. But i'm not even fully sure if it was her that was messing with the stereo, lights, and doors...

why's it scary that they share the same name?, rebecca isnt the rarest of names. and dont fear i think if she had a problem you'd know by now. one more question, how did you find this out?

No, I'm not kidding. I grew up with a nice lady named that. but I grew up around a large family with quite a few odd names in them.

What I will say on your situation is this Sobek: Why be scared? Yeah it's kinda odd that she has the same name as your mom but I doubt this means to much. And as she doesn't seem to bother you or wish you harm, I say live and let be. She does not mind your presence so what reason is there to fear? Or is there more to your fear than just the name?

Well it's not that I fear her or anything, because I know that if she meant us harm she would have already proved it. It is just kind of...I guess I should have worded it differently. I find it kind of ironic.

And Sobek, the way that I found this out was with something that I really shouldn't have been using. And I know that you shouldn't believe everything that a spirit says through one of these, and I am just putting it together from what she said. We were using an Ouija Board to try and communicate with the spirits in our house. I know it probably wasn't very smart of us or anything.

We have been reading up on it alot lately, on how to use them, and stuff like that. And even on protection and banishing spells you use before and after using the board. But I think that the main reason my cousin and I were wanting to use it is because we think that our dead uncle's spirit is in our house, and in a way we were trying to use the board to see if he actually was.

But Rebecca, as she says her name was, was in my room last night. I could feel her presence and I know that Kris could too. Kris has been sleeping in my room for that past few nights. But when I was lying in bed, after Kris was already asleep, right before I was about to doze off I heard someone whisper in my ear "I am so lonely." I personally think that it might have been Rebecca, but I'm not sure...I could have been hilucinating(sp?). It was pretty late at night for me to be staying up on a school night anyways.

theres nothing wrong with using a ouija board, but you've got the right idea of not believing everything it says.

as for the presence and hearing the voice, you may have very well been hearing things, but interestingly enough, i chat to the ghost in my house.

If you think Rebecca is good and safe to have around then perhaps you should consider setting something up for her like a special chair or candle or something? Maybe spend some time meditating and sending some happy energy her way to build on your connection. Then you might be able to help her not be lonely anymore.

I feel just as bad for sad spirits as I do for sad people and animals.

Well we believe that there is more than just one spirit in our house. Has anyone ever seen a spirit? or was it just me hilucinating(sp?) again?

I think i might have, i remeber seeing something as a kid, i remeber it was dush or really erly in the moring and i think it was trying to find something. but thats all i remeber. I have also taken pictures of what might have been an orb...but i deleted it off the camera cause it kinda scared me...


My little kinda cousin use to wave at nothing when he left a room at there old house as a small child. When he lerned to talk he whould wave and say Bye Bye. Thay also whould "misplace" alot of things. I think the little boy even whould call it by name but i dont remeber what he called it.

Well I woke up at about 3 one night, and I opened my bedroom door to go to the bathroom, and I could have sworn that I saw a little boy standing there. Then it was like he just dissapeared into thin air. It was kinda creepy, considering I wasn't expecting it and I just woke up. But this little boy looked like he was about 12 years old.

And Sobek, I have heard some crazy stuff that has happened to people. My mom has had something happen to her while she was using a Ouija Board. That is why she would freak if she knew that I was using one.

ive heard alot of crazy stuff happens too, but ive also heard alot of good stuff. i guess some have better luck than others

There's luck, sensitivity, intent, caution... Lots of things that can lead to a good or bad experience. My ouija experiences didn't hurt anyone, but they could have. Others use it to help people, so as you say Sobek, crazy and good stuff can happen.

Okay so destiny (a.k.a. morningfate) hasn't told you guys the rest of it. Last wednesday night we tried talking to rebecca again and we asked how many spirits we have in our house and come to find out we have 8. And sure enough one of them is an 8yr old little boy. We have tried communicating with them a few times last weekend and the last time we did my aunt (destinys mom) walked in so we had to hide everything. I think it has been a good experience and to tell the truth I can't wait till we talk to the spirits again. They are so interesting and I enjoy learning all that I can.

Well I didn't tell the rest of the story because I haven't been on in about a week and a half, but there were 6 spirits in our house, not 8. Remember, I took notes of our experiences with it. And we also found out that our uncle sean does live with us, but he won't talk to us. As soon as we get him to start talking to us for a few minutes he says goodbye. So yeah, that makes us a little sad...and none of the other spirits will talk to us about him either. So it makes me a little curious as to why they won't talk....
