Have a magical ho..ho...ho...holiday.

Postby Storm » Thu Dec 21, 2006 6:10 am

I travelled down from London to spend the holiday with my family in Cornwall yesterday so I won't be around on here as much, as my mother likes to plan 'family activities' every day. Not that I'm complaining - yesterday we went for the longest walk on Dartmoor - now that place rocks my world.

So anyway, if I don't see some of you - have a magical, marvellous, merry holiday...... and make sure you have a sambuca on me.

I'll raise a whisky or three, Slainte Mhath! You are so lucky to be there, it sounds wonderful. I want to visit Cornwall/Dartmoor and many other ancient and interesting places down there one day.

You never know Eretik, one day you might come down when I'm here, and I'll take you on my personal tour of Dartmoor. The wild, ancient magic that emanates from the land just blows my mind every time.

Hope you're having a good holiday up there!

Sambuca is an anise-flavoured, usually colourless liqueur. Its most common variety is often referred to as white sambuca in order to differentiate it from derivative spirits that are deep blue in colour (known as black sambuca) or bright red (red sambuca)

i dont really like the sound of it either

Oh Sobek - you'd love it. Get your ass over here one day and we'll share a flaming sambuca.

LOL Flaming sambucas are the best! Just make sure you blow it out before you take the shot... I remember when an old friend of mine burned off his mustache and half his goatee because he didn't know better!

Ah yes the ole Flamming Sambuca! I don't usually eat or drink flamming or previously flamming foods. I eat fast and may not exstinquish the flames fast enough. I don't have a stache, only nose hair!->O<-

I like aniseed, I'm partial to the odd pernod, I may have to give Sambuca a try - not so sure about flaming though, I'm accident prone.

I like pernod because of the color changing thing when you pour it on ice :) I haven't drank it in years, though.
