I don't know the reason why it feels special, but it does to me and my family also. Last year we had a lot of bad luck, but right around Samhain it started to change. By Christmas, my father in law and I were discussing the intense positivity we could feel in the energy around us, and that we could literally feel a good change coming. So, I don't know if there's any astrological or cyclic reasons for it, but you're not alone in your observation. It's going to be a great year.

It was a wild night here, weather wise. I didn't know about Thailand, but I'll watch the news later, I hope it's not too bad. Happy new year, again. I forgot about the time difference, a bit inebriated last night! I did the 'I love you all', then fall off a chair and grin like an idiot on the floor, routine. yeahhhh me!
