One word to sum up Goddess/God
One word to sum up Goddess/God
How would you sum up your perception of the Goddess and/or God in one word?
Mine would be: everything.
Mine would be: everything.
I'm not wiccan either. Divinity to me lies in everything. Every breath, every stone, every living creature.
I do not see the Goddess as a sentient deity; to me the Goddess is a representation. A representation of the energy that binds everything together, a representation of life and death & matter and spirit. She is everywhere and she is everything.

Wow! I think that the Gods are so complex that they are UNDEFINABLE. We have stories, traditions, names, and experiences that help us to know a part of them. I think that part is a small part. Small yet largely important. Think of yourself and how complex you are. Think of how you learn new things about yourself all the time. Think of your best friend and how much of your whole person they really know. This is how I, personally, view the Gods. And I think of us as smaller sized versions of Them. But remeber, this is just me personally

I was with a friend several years ago and she was telling me why she believed the way she did (christian) and she was relating everything in the cosmos to the one God etc...and I asked her if she thought God was responsible for her next breath. She kind of looked at me funny and said, "huh?" She had never thought about the day to day little things, just the grandiose.
I've had asthma my entire life. The spirits, the gods, the powers that be are to me the very next breath. The next step, the next wave of a hand, the next breeze, the next sunny day.... it can be as simple or as expansive as you want it to be...but for me, it's that next breath.
