Faeries

For conversations and questions about hauntings and spirit visitations. This is not the place to talk about demons. In fact, this whole board isn't the place for it. A Christian site is a better place for that.

Faeries

Postby Elven555 » Mon Nov 05, 2007 11:07 am

Who here believes in faeries?
Has anyone had an experience with one?

I came across a lady selling faerie portals on eBay today, I'm bidding
I'm really excited about it, as according to her feedback she's genuine.
I'm not sure if it's within the rules to post a link, so if someone can let me know before I do...

The woman I call my "Momma Witch" has had expierences with faeries and leperchauns, it sounded odd to me but she's been practicing the craft for I think about 25 years.

She says they often like to hide her things and play little tricks on her. I pretty much fully believe her. If you were to ever go into her house, you'd believe it to. All kinds of odd things happen there.

I've never personally delt with them, but I believe they are around. I don't know If I believe they are these cutsie little creatures, but I do think they are around.

My "momma witch" says that they are real, and she's seen one. She told me this, I guess I'd say story, about when one was in her house or something. She said she "saw" it at the edge of her bed. She didn't physically see, More on a seperate plane, but she could clearly see the indent in the blankets where it was.

Not sure I believe her or not, but she's not the kind to make up silly stories.

I am all for believing in what others like to question. I would like to see a faer or leperchaun. Oh I understand that they are most likely not as pretty as the movies make them out to be....but could you imagin going up to one of you buddies and telling them about it, having them laugh at you, then see the look on their faces once you prove it? *laughs at the thought* PRICELESS!
*The way we respond gives the things we respond to a special quality. In a sense, we make them what they turn out to be for us.*

This lady describes them as being in another dimension, on Earth that we can't usually see.
Unless of course, we open up to it, as with all spirits I guess.

She's also seeling a spell by the fae to help you see them... so I guess if you sense they are around you, you could always ask them to use a spell on you...

Wow, that sounds interesting. Guess you can buy a heck of a lot of things off of Ebay...geez. I believe in fairies...I mean I believe in a lot of things. I don't think they are around me though..I live in the capital, in an apartment building. Sigh...no connection to nature really. I don’t think they would be attracted to my place.

I do. I have seen them. They are not those cute little girls with butterfly wings, but beings that look....well, different. They have intricate armor formed like insect parts, only bright gold. Their bodies are inhumanly graceful, and were designed with a different sense of proportion than human beings. Long limbed, long necked, and sharp pointed ears with many piercings. Their skin is a pale cream. They do not look like children, though. They have a funny and sometimes vicious sense of humor. They can be kind, capricious, and random.

I'll have to do a drawing some time. I'm a writer and I can't describe them well. Also, there are so many different kinds of fair folk that it's hard to classify them. The ones I delt with came over with my grandfather's family from Scotland. They dwell in the forest land around my grandmother's house. There's an area near there where you can "loose time" very easily. I've known the area well my whole life and I still can get lost there. They need anchors in the wilderness, even though they exist in an alternate dimension. I hope that was coherent. :-)

I believe in faeries! I can't force myself to say I believe in Leprechauns, however. Sorry if that sounds rude to any of you. :s However, my uncle supposedly had an encounter with an evil leprechaun when he was younger. "The Squeezer", I believe, was it's name. He still fully believes what he saw to this day, and even googled(Or something..) and found exactly what he was looking for.

He found that the creature's name was "The Squeezer", looks like a tiny man, and squeezes the life out of small boys. Looks highly like a leprechaun, according to the people that have saw it, uncle included. Seeing is believing, so let's hope I can see a leprechaun one day. :P Even if just to kill off any non-believing!
