Going for my first ever Reiki treatment this afternoon. I'm excited = ]
I've been feeling so out of balance and out of touch with my spiritual self, it seemed like a long overdue idea.
Has anyone had a Reiki session before? What's it like?

HI!
I had my first treatment um, about 15 years ago! Since then I've done all the reiki levels and have been a reiki master for about 13 years.
Your post brings back some great memories. I still remember my very first treatment. I was experiencing some relationship woes at the time and woke up feeling like a I needed a little sweetness in my life. Sure enough, the phone rang and I was invited to a reiki practice day for students just completing their levels 1 & 2.
France, the student working on me had great energy and I felt the energy coming into me. It also seemed like many people were there with us around the table but when I opened my eyes it was just us.
The energy felt warm and sunny (although it can, at times, feel very cold-just means it's working on different things)
That day was a real crossroads in my life. It set me on a new path and led me to many wonderful experiences. Over time, that one decision make a very big difference for me. I'm convinced that reiki energy has helped me to evolve into a happier, more connected person.
