I'm confused by unexpected spell effect

Hi, I'm really confused about something that happened over the last day. You see, I was having some... guy issues...(look, I know I sound like a typical teenager right now, but keep reading, please) I was trying to get rid of my feelings for a certain guy, don't ask. I wrote it all down and folded up the paper while I was at school, and when I got home, I burned it. I sent my friend, who shall be known as Ri, a text message, telling her I'd done the spell and that my room was really smoky now.

That was yesterday. Today, when I met Ri on the bus, and she said that after she'd gotten my text message last night, she'd felt really cold and empty, and her feelings for the guy SHE liked had faded to a very small... uh, portion? Not sure what to call it. She thinks that my spell took away her feelings. I don't know if it worked for me. I thought of a few things that might have gone wrong, but I don't know for sure...

Normally, I state that the spell is done, but I forgot that yesterday. I also forgot to mention with "harm to none" like I usually do. I also showed Ri the paper in World History, our last class of the day, and visualized my feelings going into the paper. Maybe I accidently drew from her? And then there's the text message... I don't know. I did a spell to undo it this morning, and she seems to be fine now, but this is really bothering me... Anyone have any ideas of what could have happened?

It seems you’ve spotted all your errors. Just a reminder from Basic Witchcraft 101: We should not speak about active spells so as not to yo-yo the power. That includes notes & txt msg.
