Vivid dream trying to tell me something?

In my dream I met a man who was around my age and his name was Matt. I do not know him in real life. He was very attractive. He told me his great grandfather or grandfather or father was named Tom, or Thomas.

Then, he said he met a woman who said she was psychic and had contacted Tom. So we went to meet her, and she seemed legitimate. She kept telling us to look up #23, and for some reason, in the dream we understood this to mean the 23rd letter of the alphabet. For the entire dream, we just couldn't count the letters on our fingers, but we were in search of an alphabet chart, which we never found. The woman also gave us a piece of paper with three words written on it "god, dog, Tom."

We were confused, and ended up going back to my childhood home, to the master's bedroom. I knew my roommate was sleeping on the bed, even though I didn't look up to see her. Matt had blankets laid out on the floor to go to bed, and I went to lay down with him. I kissed him, even though I knew he had a girlfriend, and he didn't push me away.

Then my mother came into the dark room bringing in light with the open door, and then Matt pushed me away. She was disappointed in me, and I got up to go to sleep next to my roommate. When we looked at the bed she was sleeping there next to my sleeping friend, who we didn't know was in the room at all. She was also completely undressed and only covered by a thin blanket. She woke up from the light, and then, said something about getting dressed. I got in bed between her and my friend.

My mom told me I needed to take a shower and left the room. I wanted to see and talk to Matt again, but then I started a new dream, where I was still looking for Matt in different familiar and unfamiliar hallways and was not able to find him.

Interpreting my dream, it seems that the name Tom or Thomas was a family name. Matt was the son of Tom/Thomas, being the son of Tom was really important in the dream.

When I woke up the next day, I counted out the 23rd letter of the alphabet and it happened to be "W".

(An interesting connection, is my ex bf, whose first name begins with W, and last name is Thompson.)

The three people (my mom, roommate, and my friend) who I did know in real life who appeared in my dream were all Libras. I consider them all to be close to me, although we aren't the same, and have different views on things. I'm interested in my mother's role in the dream and how she opened the door and brought light to the dark room.

There were three people I did not know in real life (the psychic, Matt, and Tom).

Childhood appears to be important, as my childhood home appeared in the dream. It could also be a sign of the past.

Sexuality appears to be important as well, as I was attracted to Matt. My roommate also being found naked, and wanting to put on clothes.

Guilt. I felt guilt twice in the dream, first for kissing Matt who had a girlfriend, and then again, when my mom was disappointed when she found me in the room laying next to Matt.

Am I missing anything obvious?
