Really frightening dream

I have had this dream several nights recently, and its very disturbing.

In the dream, I and several others are scrambling for something on the ground...
Its not a very visual dream...
I get a sense of large stones on a dusty ground being the backdrop...
But in the dream I am frantically scrambling as are others. I know we are all trying to find this one Thing of great power before a terrible other Being finds it.
In the end, the terrible one finds it before anyone else can.
I feel an overpowering dread wash over my entire body, I can feel my blood turn cold.
I hear a loud BOOM, deep, like something very heavy being dropped down. And i hear a terrible, deep voice claiming "I have it."

And then I feel terror.

It seems that this dream is connected to your beliefs and spirituality. In your waking life it seems that there is fear and competition on some subject. Possibly you feel that you need an ultimate truth or spell and you have a limited time to get it? This is what I'm getting from this dream.
