do you think morrigan and lilith are one in the same?

hi!,
have this question after i had used the wikipedia search engine to get info on the keltic war goddess morrigan. and learned that she has been identified with both Lamia and Lilith (see sources: glosses and glossaries). i feel there might be a connection. Morrigan is a queen of phantoms and sidhes. Lilith is the queen of the Lilim (succubi), raphaim (ghosts, phantoms, etc), and shedim ( kind of wilderness dwelling demon, djinn, or nature spirit). i think they might be the same or at least there might be a connection (i.e. sisters, mother/daughter, etc.) does anybody else see the connection? however this just my opinion. have a good day!

They aren't the same. See, Morrigan is the Goddess of War. Lillith is simply a woman (From the Abrahamic beliefs) that wouldn't bow down to a man.

actually Lilith is related to an older summerian myth of Lilitu who was actually a hand of Inanna. she has been indentified with abtagigi a goddess of sacred sex and fertility also of mesopotamia . and was called Kalili.
Lilith was later degraded to the first wife of Adam. and demonized.

I didn't know that much. I have never researched her. I didn't even know that she was worshipped in Sumeria!

Innana was also demonized in the Bible.

I also think that they are not related. I have worked a lot with Badb (part of the morrigan) and never once has lilith even been mentioned. My besty "CD" works a lot with a Lilith figure and what I know of the two they share nothing other than being female.
