helping some one pass

Postby Dealande » Mon Apr 04, 2011 10:33 pm

I am curious if anyone has helped someone pass over.(I am not talking about killing someone- I am talking about being there at the last moments of their natural life. Those last few breaths) My mother-in-law is in the final stages of Breast Cancer, she wants to go she has said she is tired and doesn't want to fight anymore. However, my father-in-law is not ready to let her go, so she stays.

Her health has gotten worse in the last couple of weeks, and they doctors say any day now. They live in Boston area and I live in Chicago so I haven't been near her in months. Anyways I can feel some of her pain. She keeps coming to me begging me to help her, she wants to go and she said she needs my help. (I told my hubby that I would not do anything till we talked and he said it was okay. This has been an agreement for a long while) anyways, his mom comes to me many times a day and I keep telling her I can't yet. She says she just wants me to hold her hand and to walk her to the edge, she knows I can't go any farther.

We will be out there on Friday. I was hoping she would pass from a distance but deep down I have a feeling I will be right there, I would just like some advice as how to handle it. I am super sensitive to energy "High Empathy" (to say the least) I am a bit nervous. Ok I am a bit scared. I know I need to do this, I just want to make sure I don't fall afterward.

My hubby will do whatever he can to protect me or help me afterward, suggestions would be great. His family does not approve of our faith, but it's his mom who comes to me ( I feel her, I can hear hear, smell her, sense her in all aspects) and I feel like I can do this silently, while I sit on the edge of her bed holding her hand.

I just want to know what to be prepared for. Is there anything I need to have with me or on me for protection? any help would be great.
blessed be.

You can take a labadorite with you, it's an aura shield and a very powerfull earthing stone.
Good luck with this, it sounds like a very complicated situations and I hope everything is going to turn out okay.

Love and Light
Bless

Have you ever been present when another thing has died? Did you have trouble with it? Sometimes, even for sensitive people (or especially for) being present during a death is not as bad as it would seem. We build up so much fear about death when we are living, but when we experience being around someone who is passing--we might see that it is really just a milestone, or a new journey.
I've been around several deaths. I usually just close my eyes--and say to the person's spirit, "It's Ok, you aren't alone." Then I accompany them a little way into their journey--and then just send them positive thoughts. I like to imagine that the positive energy I send them will comfort them in the spirit world. I also might say some words of blessing to them, wishing them comfort, peace, and happiness, in their new place. If you are holding someone's hand, you might try to imagine positive, loving feelings or hopes, moving from your hand into their body.
The biggest pain and sorrow for me, is if the person was close to me--because then I feel sad that I will not be able to see them anymore. But, many times death seems like a blessing for those who are in pain.

Thank you WhiteOne, I have held a few pets when they were put down. That bothered me a bit but I was young. I haven't been with a person yet.

You gave me some comfort in this
