Snakes as well

Had an odd dream last night.
I was laying on something cold (stone maybe?) naked and a large black snake was slithering up the inside of my leg. There were a bunch of people a bit farther off, all watching me in total silence. I felt really... idk, proud? powerful.
It only lasted a second and then it flashed back to the usual dream nonsense. Any insights?

btw- Twine: weird coincidence O_o They could be totally unrelated, but your dream has got me wondering if we've been reached by the same thing/person...

Okay first thing I thought while reading this was Biblical symbolism. It might have to do with Eve who according to the bible had been seduced because she was 'only' a weak woman. And your dream was trying to show you that, that is false and that women are strong and powerful individuals, you are not someone who is easily seduced or tricked.
It could also be that the snake on its own is a symbol, the snake which represents eternity and change, shedding its skin and changing ever turning like an endless circle. Perhaps the snake is a particulare important animal in your life, perhaps it is even your spirit guide. All things that came to mind.

Hmm perhaps also you are facing a fear or showing a strength you didn't think you possessed. I'll drop a Lilith connection to snakes in here. Since Lilith is subservient to no man and she is associated with snakes.
