I really need help to find out who my deity/deities is. I have no clue which goddess(es) is mine and no clue on how to find her/them! i have tried but just don't get it. At first i thought maybe Aphrodite but then i don't know a part of me says no and a part of me says yes. i just don't get it. I don't know how to search for her/them.
Any help or advice????? i really need to know who she would be.

Re: help in find my deity or deities
It is not necessary to limit yourself to just one deity. There is nothing wrong with honoring all the different deities from any culture. If you are trying to find a matron goddess or patron god. Then either let them come to you on their own OR start doing your rituals and call upon different gods and goddesses and see which ones energies you seem to connect with more.
Re: help in find my deity or deities
Just start reading about Gods/ Goddesses and pantheons online. There are some posts here about them. Just keep reading and reading.
Re: help in find my deity or deities
For me, chosing deities was about what gods/goddesses I felt connected to, or felt a positive vibe from. I would start researching, as it has already been suggested. (a few to get you started: Apollo, Sedna, Isis, Hestia, Artemis, & Aphrodite)
Re: help in find my deity or deities
I myself have a total of four dieties that I felt connected to; Maat, Morgan, Pan and Mithera. They each have a(n) quality(s) that I connect to and every time i read about them I have this huge warm feeling wash over me and I feel protected and loved. What I did was I did a search for a list of Wiccan Goddesses/Gods and read through the list and the ones I felt I could relate to, or felt a warm feeling to I chose. But keep in mind you don't HAVE to pick dieties and you can take as much time as you need.

Re: help in find my deity or deities
A great place to start is your heritage. Are you Greek? DO you have native American in your blood? Or maybe you have some mighty Russian in your blood! Often your blood line helps bring a deeper connection to a god, but no always.
Re: help in find my deity or deities
There are some meditations and visualization you can do to find your matron/patron deity i have a book that thoroughly describes a visualization you could do i never tried it i always felt very connected to the goddess hecate and i felt no need to do it. i can post it if you like.

Dread that would be a good post you should add it to the forum in its own thread
Re: help in find my deity or deities
Look for objects and parts of nature that you connect with and look up the deities associated with those things. I'm connected to the moon, animals, and water and my goddess ended up being Hanwi of the moon
