First Full Moon Ritual :D

Postby Ash Night » Mon Dec 12, 2011 4:22 pm

So last night I did my first Full Moon ritual with a cakes and ale ceremony to follow up with it :)

I felt so energized and up beat after words but since it was my first one I got tired really fast as well. But during the whole thing I felt warm and calm, so to me that confirmmed that the Goddess was with me because it was like being held in a mother's embrace. I had to do some substitutes here and there for my ritual since I didn't have any money to go out and buy alter decor for the Full Moon but all in all it still turned out amazing. Its an experience I feel everyone should have :)

Blessed be!

Sounds like it was an amazing experience :D
I don't have the luxury of doing a ritual at pretty much any time.. My parents know and are okay with it; I just don't have money for certain supplies, and since I have to share a room with my little sister.. I never have time alone to do one :(

Well I'm the same way, I just manage to acquire things from friends and say I need a cauldron, I just bless a big pot I also make my own wands :) And my little sister was in the room while I was doing my ritual all I had to do is tell her that she needed to be quiet and let me consentrate as so she did.
Blessed be!

I've actually tried that before with a tiny altar consecration ritual and meditating.. during the altar consecration she wouldn't stop moving around, and whenever I meditate she giggles cause she thinks the way I meditate is funny ^.^
I am, however planning on doing a yuletide ritual, so that counts for something I guess :)

Good that you had such a wonderful experience! And no worries about not having any decoration, when it comes down to it it is just you and the goddess and she doesn't care about wands or athames. :P

Blessings to you

I did thank you ^^ and thanks about that :) I'll keep it in mind for my next ritual so I don't fret so much about it.
