Deity Connections

Postby Ebonmare » Sat Mar 24, 2012 12:13 pm

How does one know who their patron deity is? I probably sound like a fool right now, but this is something I would really like to know. If anyone could answer, that would be nice. If not, thanks for at least looking and not passing this up.

Thanks in advance and blessed be :D

I did a rather intense mediation/lucid dream to verify who my patrons were but the little clues were always there.

Rituals, prayers, and magick should reveal to you your patron Deity(ies) just remember, Wicca can be monotheistic, dualistic, or polytheistic. Listen to your soul :)

Yeah, I know what you mean. Mine is Athena! listen to these guys and meditate on it then you'll definitely know for sure :)

Lol, sorry wrong post but correct advice non the less. Meditation is a very good start although like you said clues tend to be vague and subtle at times. pay attention to lucid dreams as well, there is always something in them to be found although may not always be what you're looking for. As I said earlier, mine is Athena and basically I found out quite abruptly, kind of caught me off guard but without going too much into it I pretty much heard it from the horses mouth, lol. I used to think mine was eris, but was told differently, directly, shortly thereafter. You may find yours in many different ways, just be ready for it when you do :) hope this helps!
