Badb Catha or Lugh, anyone?

Postby WhiteDusk » Mon Sep 17, 2012 2:43 pm

I have been lurking a bit i here for some time now, trying to find someone who like me is connected to either Badb Catha or Lugh, while i found at least one who was connected to Lugh i've had trouble with my godess.

She's the sister of Morrigan and Macha and a part of the triplegodess called "the morrigan". All three is godesses of war and can take the form of either the crow or the raven.
Badb is the crone aspect of "The morrigan" and represents death, destruction and battle. She is also thought to reside over the otherworld couldron, deciding the fate of those who have crossed over into the cosmic mix. Just some short info for those who didn't know her, since Morrigan probably is the one you hear most of.

And Lugh is the god of skill and also the sungod from celtic mythology, a demanding one i would say since you.. honor him by improving or learning a new skill :P Also known as Llew Llaw Gyffes and Sam Ildanach.

But, back to topic, if anyone is connected to either of the two i would be very happy to hear from you :)

Brighde is who we use in the east...along with Lugh. She is also a triple Goddess, as in poet, smith, midwife. The nuns at Kildare still attend to her eternal flame.
