Here is a visualisation technique that I have developed to help increase success in rituals and ceremony. It is also excellent for developing clairvoyancy and mediumship.

Visualisation Technique
Visualisation techniques are key to successful energy movement and development.
One of the major hurdles that must be defeated is the human mind’s natural boundaries that stop belief and results of energy manipulation. The way to do this is by practising simple visualisation techniques over and over again. Even though I have been using these and other techniques for many years they still allow me to keep mentally prepared for when I need to use energy exercises. It’s the same with martial arts – once you’ve learned them you don’t stop because you know everything, practice does make perfect.
Here is a simple exercise that I want you to expand over a period of time to become larger, more intricate and detailed, but to begin we start with a ball of light.
The Exercise:
With any exercise you need a room where you feel comfortable, safe whether indoors or outdoors. In this place partners, flatmates or children should not distract you. Switch off the phone, close the windows and darken the room slightly. Find a comfortable place to sit and just relax. If possible, an hour before burn a light incense (stick or cone will do) but not during your exercise.
Close your eyes and inhale deeply and slowly from the stomach area, notice your stomach expand as you breathe in. Hold for a second and now exhale, once again from the stomach area and pause for one second before repeating three times.
You are now aware of your body; every twitch, subconscious movement and pain is very noted. If you are not aware of this, just repeat the above breathing exercises and then see how you feel.
Now concentrate externally, in front of you approximately six inches away from your chest there is a small ball of blue-white light about the size of a golf ball. It is hovering there, stable. If you want to look at it more deeply, tilt your head towards it as if you were looking at a book.
Once you are now fully aware of it, inhale again and imagine that you are drawing in energy from around you and as you exhale the energy is directed into the ball and in turn it grows to the size of a tennis ball.
The ball is now very close to you due to its increase in size, so inhale and as you exhale blow the ball away from you very slowly to about a foot away.
If you want to continue with the meditation feel free to move the ball around the room with your mind before finishing.
To finish this exercise bring the ball back to your chest using the power of your mind and let it hover about six inches in front of you. Raise your arms and clap – squashing the ball and energy dispersing it around.
Inhale and exhale three times before slowly opening your eyes. Sit in the same position for a minute or so and note how you feel. How successful was the meditation, did the ball move easy, did your breath move the ball or your mind?

For successful spell work I cannot estimate how important it is to be able to correctly visualising casting a circle or spells. If you cannot acheive this then you will find alot of your magickal workings will fail.

I totally agree with you Dark Mage and I've been preaching the same thing for a long time. I really tend to think it is the visualization and not the spell itself that makes it work.
