I think I accidentally took a boy's pain on a camping trip last weekend. It was a fun trip in Pennsylvania for white water rafting. There was almost no water in the river but we still had fun. The last night at camp around dinner time, we had quite the bear encounter lol. It was dark out and one of the boys walked right up to it because he thought it was a person going through his tent, when he got about three feet from it he realized it was a big black bear and he ran back to the dinner table holding his chest. It's kind of a long story after that but the bear didn't hurt anyone and he didn't come back. However, me, this boy, and his brother ended up on bear watch all night lol (The ranger said it's used to people and waits until you fall asleep and comes back...I wanted to punch the ranger in the head).
Whenever the kid came near me I would have shiver fits, it was cold, but I wasn't that cold, so I brushed it off as me picking up on his nervousness. So, that night I told the boy that he should get at least a couple hours of sleep and that I'd keep watch. I held his hand until he fell asleep (he was cute teehee). Sunday afternoon (about 24 hours later) I was lying in bed and I got these unbelievable chest pains, I could tell they weren't mine (if that makes any sense). So I grounded and centered and I was all better

I talked to the boy lastnight and I asked him if he had chestpains when he saw the bear, because he was holding his chest, and he said yeah, I have heart problems, why? and I was like.....nothing! lol.
So either it was a really weird coincidence or I really did take his pain. Any suggestions? lol. Can anyone do that or is that a trait of a healer? I remember my mom telling me, when I was little, she could take a person's pain away. Heredity?
