In beginning First Man and First Woman
created the Four Sacred Mountains
In beauty may I walk.
All day long may I walk.
Through the returning seasons may I walk.
On the trail marked with pollen may I walk.
With grasshoppers about my feet may I walk.
With dew about my feet may I walk.
With beauty may I walk.
In beauty may I walk.
With beauty before me may I walk.
With beauty behind me may I walk.
With beauty above me may I walk.
With beauty around me may I walk.
In old age, wandering on a trail of beauty,
lively may I walk.
In old age, wandering on a trail of beauty,
living again, may I walk.
It is finished in beauty.
It is finished in beauty.

Re: Walk in Beauty
Often I spend time in the wilderness.... In Australian indigenous culture it is called 'going walkabout' ... Going off into the wilderness for a period of time to enhance your spiritual and cultural connection to the land. Understanding the land and especially large mountains and rocks, and enmeshing oneself in the timelessness of it does one the world of good.... Nice video Kassandra.

Thanks. Yes, listening to nature speak to the soul is a beautiful thing. I love the metaphor of this meditation.
