Arawn(?) and Aine

Postby Tur » Sun Dec 01, 2013 9:45 am

I think I've found a god deity. It took me a month, but I feel a strong connection. Sadly, I don't know if it'll work.

Arawn: Celtic god of the underworld and death. From what I've researched from him, he's loyal, but pretty aggressive. He's not evil. He gives back, is capable of friendship.

"He is fond of taking his Hounds of Hell for a run to track down lost souls. This causes people to stay away and shun the Otherworld, which helps to keep the riff-raff out." - http://www.godchecker.com/pantheon/celt ... eity=ARAWN

I was hoping somebody here had a connection to him also, or one of similar characteristics. Aine is my goddess. She is goddess of a bunch of things, like love, fertility, crops, cattle, the sun. She is the protector of women. I don't know how well these two energies would work when called together. I feel so strongly about Aine as my deity. I know that we'll work together for a very long time. I don't want to disrespect or become loyal to a god that I cannot work well with. Aine is a very independent goddess. I think Arawn is too. While Aine never had a long relationship outside of mortal men, Arawn has a wife.

There are definite similarities between these two, but I don't know if it's enough to work.
