I just realized that I haven't introduced myself here... yet I already exhaust you on this forum.
So I think it's about time for me to have a proper introduction.
Sometimes its better late than never. My first post was my introduction but sometimes I think posting a few times elsewhere might be another way to ease your thoughts into the forum.
I found my way here if I could remember via a banner ad...somewhere. And I'm pleased to see yet another location dedicated to helping all of us meet on our spiritual paths.
This forum is great for that. There are many forums out there that are too specific like they only focus on one or two practices. Here basically anything is welcome so long as you follow the forum rules and are respectful of everyone.
I and my fiance working magick on a quest ultimately to establish a Magickal Centre here in our place where pagans and like-minded people will be able to gather for respite of many kinds, including shops for ritual tools and supplies, an arts and crafts workshop , meditation and consciousness work, psychic development, working with nature spirits and receiving and learning how to use alternative healing.
Good luck with that. I am on the path to developing my long term dream of having a metaphysical shop of my own. I have one online right now, but I would like to one day have a Brick and Mortar or physical location as well as a web presence.
Anyway, I guess for now these two words suffice as a description for myself: Pagan and Mystic. I decided to use the word because that is how some people describe me.
Pagan witch here, but my witchcraft is very inclusive.
At this stage I am comfortable with Wicca (which I am fairly new), but I'm also comfortable with Obeah and Orisha, Santeria, Druidism, Hinduism, Hellenistic Religion, Chaos Magick, Kabbalah, Gnosticism, Enochian Magick, Classical Western Mysticism, Hermeticism and American Folk Magick.
Looks like you have studied quite a few different systems. There are some systems I am interested in but haven't studied yet myself. Right now I am focused on Hoodoo and in June I begin my studies in the Feri tradition of witchcraft.
Besides these, I'm very into Arts and Crafts, Photography , and Kitchen Witchery.
I need to start cooking more. I also need to look very much into the associations of the herbs that my fiance and I use all the time in cooking. That way I can start working magic into the meals I cook more effectively.
I joined here because I'd like to read and share ideas especially on magic and metaphysics. Some may not agree with me, and it doesn't matter. What do I expect? This is the Internet where you can meet folks who are bound to disagree with you. I'm not gonna be trying to proclaim the "Truth" or convince them in my belief anyway, just my own smelly personal brain-farts!
I dont agree with everyone on here nore would I ever expect to. I've found some who have presented new ideas and concepts to me and I love it. I also love it when people disagree with me on this forum. It becomes an exchange of ideas and concepts and we can both grow and develop concepts. Disagreements are not always a bad thing, and sometimes they can also lead to some of the most profound magical and spiritual relationships you can develop.
