I've recently been sort of unsure about my current belief system, and I've been struggling with meditation and spiritual practice in general. I believe this is partly due to my own doubt, and also I have sort of tied myself in to atheistic Wicca without actually looking in to deities much. So, I researched a little bit and decided I would start looking in to deities, beginning with three I already feel a pull towards- Eos, Persephone and Aither. However, from looking around online it seems I have to ask for permission or call to them or something in order to begin a connection. And, as I already said, I seriously struggle with meditation/spiritual communication/trance work etc.
Are there other ways to connect with these deities without trance work or meditation? Or should I try anyways?
Thank you guys!

Re: Eos, Persephone and Aither?
You could try divination (tarot, runes or whatever you prefer) to communicate with the deities - it's probably the easiest way. Or you could ask them to give you some kinds of signs if they're interested in working with you. Just remember not to communicate with all of them at once - take it slow and see what happens.
And it's okay, you don't always have to feel the pull towards spiritual practices. In fact if you're struggling with it now maybe it's a good time to revise your practice and adjust it to your needs and preferences? In nature-based religions/paths being in touch with yourself is the key to feel good about your path. There's no need to meditate if you don't feel like it's beneficial to you at this point. Think about what kind of activities make you feel "whole". It could be art, taking a walk in nature, cooking, thinking, listening to the music, dancing, pampering your body - anything. All these activities can be a better source of spiritual exultation if they make you feel integrant and at peace

Re: Eos, Persephone and Aither?
Hello Springsgrace! I can't speak for Eos and Aither, but I've written a bit about my experiences with Persephone (although I don't work from a devotional polytheist point of view). I'm the "heady", book-ish, type, so I gained a lot by reading about her as a goddess archetype (you can also read more about her in Jean Shinoda Bolen's excellent work, Goddesses in Everywoman). I have also had good experiences with a tarot spread designed to work with Persephone, which is a Tarot spread that I do offer here.
Hope that helps!
