Dream or Sprirt?

So a while back I had a dream where I woke up (I thought I was really waking up) and for some reason a walked over to my window and my curtains were open(it was sort of dark out). I looked out and saw this shadow move between the two trees and it look like it was turning its head and it had bright glowing green eyes. I ran and almost mad it to my door but I couldn't move at all, I remember thinking that I should look at my watch to see if I was dreaming.
I woke up thinking that this was real and all day I was scared of my window all day. I have only had one "paranormal" experience a couple years ago.
I was wondering if this could have been more then a dream?

I think it's entirely possible for a spirit to visit you in a dream.

Could have been simply a nightmare. Could have been someone paying you a visit in the dream world. Could have been a spirit trying to get your attention and your mind was able to perceive it when you were asleep.

Hard to say really. It might be worth keeping a journal of those kinds of dreams to see if there are any common themes that may be messages that are trying to be sent over time.

It may never happen again, it may just be a dream and mean nothing.
